Meet Simone (“we”, “us”) is a small pre-launch waitlist at meetsim.one. This notice explains what personal data we collect when you use the site, why, the legal basis, how long we keep it, and your rights under the GDPR. We've kept it short and plain.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Meet Simone (meetsim.one). For any privacy question or request, email hello@meetsim.one.

What we collect

  • Your email address — required to join the waitlist, so we can contact you about early access.
  • What you tell Simone and Lucas— your stated goal, where you're searching, who you are if you choose to share it, and the conversation you have on the page, stored as text.
  • Phone number — optional, only if you choose to give it.
  • LinkedIn profile URL — optional. If you share one, we look it up in a public web-search index so Lucas can greet you with the right name and role; that lookup result is used to write his reply and is not stored.
  • The conversation and how you used the page — what you write in the chat is logged under a random, per-visit session identifier, along with technical data (response times, processing cost, whether you typed or tapped answers), so we can see where the product falls short during this test. This log is not linked to your name or email unless you join the waitlist.
  • Technical data— your browser's user-agent string, stored with your waitlist submission.

Why we collect it, and the legal basis

  • Waitlist details you submit (email, and anything optional you add) — to contact you about early access and pick up where the conversation left off. Legal basis: your consent, given when you tick the box and save your spot. You can withdraw it any time.
  • The pseudonymous session log, including conversations from visitors who never join — to understand whether the product is useful and where it falls short before launch. Legal basis: our legitimate interestin validating and improving a pre-launch product, using data that isn't tied to your identity.

How the chat works (automated processing)

The replies from Simone and Lucas are generated by a large-language-model service. What you type in the chat is sent to that provider to produce each reply. The chat is a guided conversation, not a decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that make the site work, acting on our instructions under data-processing agreements:

  • Supabase — our database provider, which stores your waitlist record and the session log.
  • OpenAI— the language-model provider that generates Simone's and Lucas's replies from what you type.
  • Serper (Google Search) — used only when you share a LinkedIn URL, to look it up so Lucas can greet you correctly.

This build uses no third-party analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we'll update this notice first.

Transfers outside the EU/EEA

OpenAI and Serper are based in the United States, so sharing data with them involves a transfer outside the EU/EEA. These transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Your waitlist record is held by our database provider (Supabase).

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist data until we launch and onboard you, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first — and in any case no longer than 24 months from your last contact with us. The pseudonymous session log is kept only for as long as we need it to evaluate this test, then deleted or aggregated.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and uses no advertising or analytics trackers. That's also why you don't see a cookie banner.

Your rights under the GDPR

If you are in the EU/EEA (or UK), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Have inaccurate data corrected (rectification);
  • Have your data erased (“right to be forgotten”);
  • Withdraw your consent at any time;
  • Receive your data in a portable format;
  • Object to or restrict how we process your data;
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these, email hello@meetsim.oneand we'll take care of it, free of charge, within one month.
